Police are making enquiries after a person was located deceased near Waerenga / Mission Bay, Rotorua today.
Police were notified shortly before midday by a member of the public.
Until we have completed the formal identification process we will be unable to confirm the identity of the body.
Further updates will be provided when they are available.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
