Police and LandSAR have continued to search for Brent Falaniko today in the Waikanae Beach area.
Brent’s family is extremely concerned for his wellbeing and would like to know he is safe and well.
The search for Brent will continue tomorrow, covering a wider area.
Brent is described as being of a mediium build, with grey shoulder-length hair and a beard. He was last seen carrying a blue blanket.
Police continue to ask that the public watch out for Brent and report any sightings matching his description.
We also continue to ask that people in the Waikanae Beach area check their properties and out-buildings, in case Brent has sought shelter.
