Police can confirm one person has died following a serious crash on Ngunguru Road, Kiripaka earlier today.
The crash occurred at around 2:30pm and involved a single motorcycle.
The road is closed and motorists are asked to delay travel and avoid the area if possible.
Police are making enquiries to establish the cause of the crash.
