A person has been found deceased following a house fire in Cobden early this morning.
Emergency services were called to the fire on Peel Street at 5.35am today.
Enquiries are under way to establish the circumstances of the fire, including how the fire started.
Police will be working with Fire and Emergency NZ investigators today to conduct a scene examination.
