We are Aotearoa New Zealands privacy regulator, charged with promoting and protecting individual privacy. With the new Privacy Act 2020, we have a new way of working we call Privacy 2. 0 to help ensure that we deliver the best privacy outcomes for the highest public benefit. TheAdviser/Senior Adviser, Assessment and Resolution, providesa single point of assessment for triaging complaints from members of the public about alleged breaches of their privacy. Our compliance lens goes beyond a single focus on individual complaints to a wider focus on systemic issues and emerging risks.
