Police graduation today at 2pm, Wing 355

The number of recruits now graduating is 70 and the number of wāhine Māori is 24.

Wing demographics:

There are 70 graduates – 33 female (47.1%); 37 male (52.9%).
Recruits identify as NZ European (44, 62.9%), Māori (31, 44.3%), Pacific (7, 10%), Asian (6, 8.6%) and LAAM (2, 2.9%). Note that some identify as more than one ethnicity.
The youngest member is 19 and the eldest is 43.

District postings:

Northland – 1; Auckland City – 8; Counties Manukau – 11; Waitematā – 9; Waikato – 7; Bay of Plenty – 5; Eastern – 3; Central – 7; Wellington – 7; Tasman – 3; Canterbury – 7; Southern – 2

Note Police Minister Chris Hipkins is no longer attending. Minister of Defence the Hon Peeni Henare is attending instead.
