Appeal for information following aggravated robbery in Taradale

Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated robbery that took place early yesterday morning in Taradale.

A man allegedly assaulted another man delivering bread outside a convenience store on Gloucester Street around 2am and stole his delivery truck.

The victim was fortunately not seriously injured, and the truck was found by Police on Karamu Road South, Hastings.  

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw a white delivery truck with blue signage in the area or travelling between Taradale and Hastings similar to the one pictured.
