Police are now in a position to confirm the name of the man that died on Owaka Valley Road, Clutha on Saturday night.
He was 33-year-old Rikki McCall of Owaka, Clutha District.
Police would still like to speak to anyone who was in the Owaka Valley Road area between 8pm on Saturday 7 May and 4am on Sunday 8 May.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Police on 105 and quote file number 220508/8217.
