State Highway 1 south of Dunedin is closed following a serious crash.
The collision between a car and a truck-and-trailer unit happened on the Allanton-Waihola Highway at Henley, around 8:30am.
The driver of the car is injured but the exact nature of injuries is unclear at this stage.
Diversions are in place off the highway at Centre Road and at Henley Road.
