Police can now name the man who died following a two-vehicle crash on Vickerman Street, Blenheim on the afternoon of Sunday, 13 March.

He was Allister Robert Christie, 70, of Blenheim.

Mr Christie was found deceased in one of the vehicles.

Police extend our condolences to his friends and whānau.

The driver of the other vehicle involved, a 29-year-old man, has been located by Police and is assisting with our enquiries.

Police would like to thank members of the public who have come forward with information so far.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.

As part of our ongoing enquiries, Police continue to appeal to the public for further information relating to the crash or the people involved.
