Police can now name the two people who died in a two-vehicle crash in Waiotahe, Bay of Plenty on Wednesday 2 February.
They were Moewai Alice Hope, 58, of Whakatāne and Kaye Wareti Tai, 40, of Ōpōtiki.
Police extend our sympathies to the families of the deceased.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
