Police are responding to a serious crash near the intersection of SH3 and Ingram Road, Rukuhia, Waipa.
The crash, between a ute and a truck, was reported about 4pm.
SH3 is blocked and diversions are being put in place.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area or expect delays.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
