Search continues for missing kayaker

Police have concluded their search today for the kayaker who went missing yesterday in the Turihaua Point area north of Gisborne.

Air; land and sea search continued today to no avail.

Police Search and Rescue will re-commence the search tomorrow morning. The Police Dive Squad have stood down for today.

Police are now treating this as a recovery operation.
