Yesterday the Government reviewed the traffic light colours for each region. From 11:59pm Thursday 30 December the following regions relevant to EIT will move from Red to Orange; Auckland, Gisborne/Tairāwhiti, and Wairoa. Hawke’s Bay will remain in Orange. Click here for the latest update and the interactive map. The next review is 4pm, Monday 17 January 2022.
What does this means for EIT from 30 December?
EIT will be closed down when the traffic lights change from Red to Orange. so there won’t be any immediate changes that impact you. It is likely that we will be returning to work in 2022 in Orange. Here is reminder of what tertiary education looks like in Orange. If this changes at the 17 January 2022 review, we will provide a further update then.
