Emergency services are responding to a single-vehicle crash on SH5, Te Haroto.
Police were notified of the crash at about 12.45pm.
One person is reported to be injured.
The crash has occurred south of the Tarawera Tavern and the road is closed.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area or expect delays.
