Attribute to Superintendent Shanan Gray, Relieving Auckland City District Commander:
Police have arrested a second person in connection with a gathering held at the Auckland Domain on Saturday.
Today, Police arrested and charged a 57-year-old man with Failing to Comply with Order (COVID-19) over the event. The man will also appear before the Auckland District Court today for breach of bail conditions.
Police are not ruling out the possibility of further enforcement action as part of our investigation into the gathering, which was held in breach of the current Alert level restrictions in Auckland.
