Information sought following Naenae scrub fire

Police are seeking information from the public following a suspicious scrub fire in Naenae.

The large scrub fire set in the hills above Waddington Drive was reported to emergency services at around 4:30pm on Friday 22 October.

Four youths were seen leaving the scene and Police are seeking to identify these people.

This was a suspicious fire and Police are seeking any witnesses who were in or driving through the area at the time of the fire.

Anyone with any information, which could assist Police with our investigation is asked to get in touch.
