New Plymouth Police arrest two youths in relation to aggravated robbery

Police have arrested two youths in relation to an aggravated robbery at a dairy in New Plymouth on October 4.

The two youths entered the dairy on Mangorei Road at 5.50pm and presented a weapon to the lone staff member.

Fortunately no one was injured and the offenders have stolen tobacco and cash before leaving the scene in a vehicle.

This morning Police executed two search warrants at addresses in New Plymouth.

Both youths have been bailed to appear in the New Plymouth Youth Court on Wednesday 20 October.

Police would like to thank the public for information provided which has assisted in making these arrests.
