This November, the inaugural CFX2030: Climate Futures Experience lands in Tāmaki Makaurau, bringing with it a kete-full of workshops, presentations and tools designed to educate Kiwis about the importance of meeting New Zealand’s carbon emission goals and inspire us all to take positive steps to address climate change.

Supported by Auckland Unlimited and the Ministry for the Environment, the four-day experience includes a range of activities for Aucklanders to enjoy and discover.

Panel Discussions: Monday 15 November – Wednesday 17 November

If you fancy dropping in to catch a discussion or two, throughout the week experts, change-makers and industry leaders will be sharing the latest science, technology and innovations helping in the fight against climate change. 

Morning People Climate Rave: Wednesday 17 November

Morning People joins CFX2030 for a high energy rave experience to start the day. Designed for those early birds and go-getters, dance music will be served alongside complimentary snacks from Altezano Brothers, Club Mate and All Good. From each ticket sale, $5 will be donated to Sustainable Coastlines. 

The Ocean Race Summit: Wednesday 17 November

The inaugural Australasian The Ocean Race Summit will take place on Wednesday. The global event series, from the world’s toughest test of a team in sport, brings leading change-makers together to create winning strategies to tackle the issues facing our seas and help restore ocean health. 

Sustainable Coastlines Ball: Wednesday 17 November

Join the Sustainable Coastlines team to celebrate their mahi, while raising funds for them to continue inspiring and educating communities to look after Aotearoa’s precious coastlines and waterways.

Tickets include hors d’oeuvres, drinks and a three-course plated dinner by Urban Gourmet. Music from DJ Murry Sweetpants with the Shoulder Rubs will keep the party going well into the night.
