Police appeal for sightings of missing Mount Albert woman

Police are appealing to the public to help find Lena Harrap, who went missing from her Mt Albert home this morning.

The 28-year-old was last seen about 6am this morning when she left her home to go for a walk, but she failed to return.

She was reported missing by her family shortly before 1pm today.

Lena has down syndrome and is vision impaired, and Police and her family are worried about her welfare and want to make sure she is safe.

She was last seen wearing a purple jumper and black floral shorts. She has long black hair and is described as about 130cm tall. She often goes for walks around the Jersey Ave and Owairaka Reserve and Harbutt Reserve areas.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call Police on 111 quoting event number P048022775. If you see her please call 111.
