Police can now confirm a person has died following a crash in Upper Hutt this afternoon.
A motorcycle has crashed on River Road at about 1.10pm.
The driver has sadly died.
Diversions remain in place while the Serious Crash Unit examine the scene and Police ask motorists to avoid the area, if possible.
