From Thursday 9 September all EIT campuses and regional learning centres in Hawke’s Bay and Tairāwhiti will be open for students under Alert Level 2 (Delta). We look forward to seeing you again. Here is some important information to support returning to campus.
Welcome Back We know that returning to campus maybe an unsettling time, and you may have questions or need some support. On both the main campuses in Hawke’s Bay and Tairāwhiti we will have staff welcoming you back. Look out for the gazebos at front of campus.
Your Learning Your programme coordinator will confirm with you when face to face learning will resume for your programme. If you are “At Risk” or have concerns about returning, please discuss these with your programme coordinator.
Staying Safe Face masks are highly recommended while on campus and you should bring a mask with you. All public-facing areas (Library, Registry, Reception and Cafes) will require you to wear a mask and social distance. The exception is cafes where you can remove your mask when eating and drinking.
Contact tracing You must scan in or sign in each time you come to EIT. When using our cafes and libraries you will need to scan in these facilities separately
Recording Attendance As part of EIT meeting the requirements of Alert level 2 (Delta) we need to record attendance in every class. Please be patient and support your tutors while they do this.
