Police investigate aggravated robbery in Ngaruawahia

Huntly Police are investigating an aggravated robbery in Ngaruawahia on 2 September. 

An offender entered a dairy on Jesmond Street at around 6pm and threatened the shopkeeper.

The offender took cash, cigarettes and tobacco and left the scene on foot.

The offender is believed to be a teenager and was described as being of slight build andapproximately 160-170cm tall.

They were wearing a mask, a dark blue puffer jacket with a hood, and a black backpack.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the robbery, who may have seen something which would assist our enquiries.
