Join Jane Wild, Chair of the UNESCO Memory of the World Aotearoa NZ Trust to sample our documentary heritage taonga in this illustrated talk about the first 10 years of the programme in Aotearoa.

Jane will feature local collections inscribed on the Memory of the World Register to give a sense of the rich and varied collections on the register and outline the process for adding to this record of our unique documentary heritage taonga.

Colleagues from the University of Auckland Library and the Auckland War Memorial Museum will discuss their recent successful nominations for Robin Hyde and Olaf Petersen.

Jane Wild is a documentary heritage specialist based at Auckland Libraries. She is the chair of the UNESCO Memory of the World Aotearoa NZ Trust which was established in 2010. The programme is one of over 60 Memory of the World programmes first launched by UNESCO in 1992.

This event will be held in the Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium (Corner of Kitchener and Wellesley Streets) and online via Zoom.
