Statement to be attributed to Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Johnson:
Police can now confirm the name of the woman who died in hospital overnight after she was located in her Heathcote Valley home on Tuesday in a critical condition.
She was 56-year-old Heather Foote.
Her death is being treated as unexplained, and an investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
A post mortem has been conducted and a scene examination is continuing at a Heathcote Valley residential property.
