Learn insights from Meng Foon, Race Relations Commissioner, and masterful relationship builder who comfortably walks alongside the diverse cultures that make up Tāmaki Makaurau and Aotearoa.
Meng Foon was the Mayor for Gisborne for 18 years and is New Zealand’s first Race Relations Commissioner of Chinese descent. He speaks fluent English, Cantonese and te reo Māori.
This public meeting will provide an opportunity for interactive discussion on topics such as how can the Ethnic Peoples Advisory Panel, the Council and Auckland City do better to serve our ethnic communities and their diverse identities within a bi-cultural framework?
