Southern District Police executed three search warrants in Gore today and arrested one person.

The warrants are a continuation of our focus on the illicit supply of methamphetamine in Southland and Otago.

Over 60 Police staff were involved in the warrants.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with methamphetamine-related offences.

He is expected to appear in Gore District Court on Wednesday 7 July.

Police will continue to focus on methamphetamine-related offending and the harm the drug causes in our community.
