A person has been critically injured in a crash in Hamilton overnight.
Police were notified at 3.50am that a car had collided with a traffic light on Victoria Street, between Princes Street and Liverpool Street.
The road remains closed this morning while an examination of the crash scene is carried out.
Motorists are asked to take alternative routes.
