Emergency services are responding to a serious crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Baylys Coast Road in Dargaville (between SH12 and Scottys Camp Road).
The crash was reported to Police just before 6.15pm.
The pedestrian is reported to be in a serious condition.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
