State Highway One has reopened following the serious crash in Otara early this morning.
Two people died at the scene, between Highbrook Drive off ramp and Highbrook Drive on ramp, and three others were seriously injured in the crash, which occurred around 3:30am.
The circumstances of the crash are now under investigation.
Motorists are thanked for their patience while emergency services worked at the scene.
