State Highway One is partially blocked, following a single vehicle crash this evening.
Police were notified of a truck and trailer unit rolling around 9.15pm.
Diversions are in place at SH1 and SH27, north of Tirau and at SH1 and SH29, near Karapiro.
The driver is reported to have serious injuries.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area while emergency services work to clear the scene.
