Police can confirm a pedestrian has died following the earlier crash involving a truck on SH50.
The crash was reported to Police just after 6pm.
Initial indications are the person who died may have been unloading equipment from another truck when the collision occurred.
The road will be closed overnight and diversions remain in place.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
