Police and Fire and Emergency investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances of a fatal house fire in Coatesville yesterday morning.
A scene examination is expected to be completed at the Mahoenui Valley Road address this afternoon.
Police are not yet in a position to release the names of the two people who sadly died, as the formal identification process is yet to be completed.
Our enquiries are ongoing and Police cannot speculate on the cause of the fire until the investigation is complete.
