We have published the Supplementary Plan Guidance to support tertiary education organisations (TEOs) with added information to develop their new investment Plans for funding from 1 January 2021.
Supplementary Plan Guidance (SPG), June 2020 is now on the Plan Guidance webpage.
The SPG considers the Government’s increased investment in tertiary education to rebuild New Zealand’s economy in response to COVID-19. It provides an update on Plan requirements, investment priorities, Plan process and timeline, as well as setting some high-level expectations for subsectors in this Plan round.
Our vision remains a system where everyone is focused on the best ways to improve outcomes by using shared information and evidence.
Our investment round continues to focus on delivering tertiary success for all learners and a system that delivers better outcomes for New Zealand. We can’t achieve this without you, so our Plan engagements will be focused on exploring what we each can contribute to making this happen.
The SPG should be used alongside our Plan Guidance published in December 2019 and the Investment Briefs included in the Investment Toolkit.
