Media advisory: Arrests made and $10m in assets restrained as part of Police operation

Police have carried out 12 search warrants across Auckland this morning as part of an investigation by the Financial Crime Group into money laundering and other offences.

Ten arrests have been made with more than $10 million in assets being restrained.

Detective Inspector Lloyd Schmid will be available to speak with media this afternoon at the Auckland City Police Hub at College Hill at 4.15pm.

Media wishing to attend are advised to assemble outside and scan in before being escorted to a conference room inside the station.
