We invite you to step back in time 70 million years this summer to an age when dinosaurs roamed New Zealand.
The show dates and times vary.
Meet Toru, the life-size Triceratops, plus Rexy and Diablo the two-legged meat-eating dinosaurs, plus cute baby dinosaurs and ‘Big Herb’ the plant-eating titanosaur.
There is also a very special guest dinosaur who’s making her first appearance.
The event is set in the beautiful Auckland Botanic Gardens (enter via Everglade Drive), so you can combine DinoFest with a picnic or walk around the stunning gardens.
Learn more about the prehistoric ferns, cycads and conifer trees whose descendants still grow in the gardens today.
Tickets include a Dinosaur Encounter, kids activities, and a Dinosaur Trail with a full-size T-Rex.
We welcome everyone – the event is ideal for families with children under the age of eight years old.
Free entry for children under 2 on the day of DinoFest.
