Police can now confirm the name of the child who died as a result of a two-vehicle collision on SH1, Hikurangi on 1 January 2021.
He was 6-year-old Myka Tuala of Wellington.
Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
