Secondary Principals’ Council – Call for nominations
Nominations are invited from principals who are members of the association for places on the Secondary Principals’ Council for 2021- 2022 from each of the following areas:
Area 2 Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Northeast (Northern & Eastern wards)
Area 4 Counties-Manukau and Hauraki Coromandel
Area 6 Western Bay of Plenty and Bay of Plenty
Area 8 Taranaki and Manawatū-Whanganui
Area 10 West Coast, Nelson and Marlborough
Area 12 Otago and Southland
The term of office is the two years 2021 and 2022. The Council meets four times per year in Wellington for two days. PPTA meets all associated costs.
The Council represents the interests and perspectives of principals and reports regularly to the PPTA executive.
The nomination must be supported by a proposer and seconder who are PPTA principal members.

If more than one nomination for an area is received an election will be held.

Nominations are invited from Māori principals who are members of the association for their representative on PPTA’s Secondary Principals’ Council, a body that represents the interests and perspectives of secondary and area school principals and helps inform PPTA policy.
The term of office is the two years 2021 and 2022.
The nomination must be supported by a proposer and seconder who are PPTA principal members. One of the nominees must be from the area the nominee represents.

If more than one nomination is received an election will be held.
Candidates’ information will be distributed with voting papers.

Nominations are invited for the representative on the Secondary Principals’ Council for area school principals. The Council represents the interests and perspectives of secondary and area school principals and helps inform PPTA policy.

The nominee must be a principal of an area school and supported by a proposer and seconder who are principal members of PPTA.
