Emergency services are in attendance at a serious crash involving more than one vehicle on State Highway 5 northeast of Taupo, at Ohaaki.
It happened shortly before 11am.
Diversions are in place off State Highway 5 at Ohaaki Road and Aratiatia Road.
Motorists are asked to expect delays and have patience.
