Media advisory: Politicians respond to teachers’ vision for early childhood education

WHAT
NZEI Te Riu Roa is hosting an online election forum focused on early childhood education. Early childhood kaiako from a range of services across the sector will share their stories and vision for ECE, and have invited education spokespeople from various parties to share where they stand on demands such as pay parity and funding.

Confirmed candidates include the Green Party’s Golriz Ghahraman, Labour’s Chris Hipkins, the Māori Party’s Tākuta Ferris, National’s Nicola Willis, and New Zealand First’s Tracey Martin.
