11 Aug 2020 – Earlier this evening, the Prime Minister addressed the nation about new positive cases of COVID-19 in the community that have been identified in Auckland.
Unite against COVID-19(external link) and the Ministry of Transport(external link) and Ministry of Health(external link) websites.
There is no known link between the cases and Managed Isolation and Quarantine facilities.
As of midday tomorrow (Wednesday August 12) the Auckland region will move to Alert Level 3 for 3 days until midnight on Friday 14 August. The rest of New Zealand will move to Alert Level 2.
