The Tertiary Education Commission is pleased to host our third and final webinar to help you build and enhance the quality of your online teaching and practice.
The webinar supports the range of resources and tools we gathered that may help tertiary education organisations deliver online teaching.
Supporting disabled tertiary learners in an online environment

At this 60-minute session subject matter experts Karen Hannay and Stephanie Houpt from the Open Polytechnic’s Learning Support Team discuss best practices and supports for disabled learners in an online environment. The discussion will cover:
understanding and supporting learners as individuals at all stages of their learning journey with your organisation
the importance of a cross-organisational response to learner needs, and how to make this happen
technical and practical support ideas 
case studies of individual learner support journeys.
Karen and Steph will be speaking from the combined experience of Open Polytechnic’s learning support team.
You will have the opportunity to ask presenters questions in a facilitated question and answer session following the presentations.
