Police recognise the media interest in the ongoing response to Covid-19 and are inviting interested outlets to some of the Easter Weekend checkpoints.
Auckland and Christchurch based media will be able to attend tomorrow, Friday 10 April.
Media are requested to register their interest with the Media Centre ahead of time by emailing media@police.govt.nz
There will be location options available and we can advise of each specific time and location.
At each location media will be able to film and take photographs and a Police officer will be available for interviews.
There will be strict health and safety protocols in place at these locations and your cooperation with these is appreciated in advance.
Media are also advised that these locations are not to be published prior to the checkpoint taking place.
