This year’s theme, Help Me Be Healthy, is a message that speaks to many aspects of positive childhood development including physical exercise, healthy kai, having fun and learning to build healthy relationships.

“We all have a general idea of what being healthy means, so at this year’s event we are walking the talk and taking up the challenge of providing interactive fun and healthy kai whilst attempting to deliver a zero-waste event,” says stall coordinator Leanne Brownie.

There are special free buses for the day to bring people to the event from Tikipunga, Kamo, Hikurangi, Otangarei, Onerahi and Morningside.
