New Zealand’s homegrown digital asset exchange can now offer its customers, competitive digital asset rates, greater liquidity across the widest selection of markets.

The Bittrex partnership, takes Dasset a step closer to fulfilling its primary mission; of offering New Zealanders choice, stability and security in the way they manage their financial affairs.
Coupled with Dasset’s recent security and technology upgrade which have enhanced its capability to deliver a superior and secure digital asset trading experience to customers throughout in New Zealand, Australia and across Oceania.

“We work with teams around the world to implement Bittrex technology with the goal of continuing to educate customers and partners about the endless potential of blockchain technology.” said Bittrex Co-Founder Richie Lai. “Our partnership with Dasset will further enable customers from the Oceania region to leverage deep liquidity at competitive prices across various digital assets, powered by the technology of Bittrex”

“We are excited to establish a partnership with Bittrex – one of the most trusted and liquid digital asset exchanges in the world. Traditionally, Australasian investors have had difficulty accessing digital assets, due to the high fees and low liquidity amongst exchanges. With this partnership, Dasset and Bittrex can bring international standards to the Oceania region in terms of pricing, fees and selection.” said Dasset CEO, Stephen Macaskill. “Dasset’s vision is to support a sound financial system by empowering individuals with access, choice and sovereignty over their wealth – and with Bittrex’s commitment, we are now one step closer to fulfilling this.”

The strategic partnership brings international standards to the Oceania region in terms of pricing, fees and selection using Bittrex Technology. Dasset is a full-featured, highly secured digital assets exchange based in Auckland, New Zealand, with access to over 30 starting tokens. Their trading platform is designed for both retail customers and professional traders.

Source: Press Release Service – New Zealand

(PR.co.nz) TIMG’s BackOnline solution, offering data back-up and full disaster recovery has proven a valuable asset for New Zealand businesses who were forced to transition quickly to 100% remote work during NZ’s recent COVID-19 Level 4 lockdown. Those businesses who already tap into BackOnline are enjoying advanced technology that enables them to breathe a sigh of relief and maintain business continuity with no hassles in the face of adversity.

On the other hand, businesses who continue to carry out a manual backup tape storage process would likely have needed to have staff physically access on-premise servers during lockdown to ensure data backups continued as normal. This would have proved impossible for those businesses who were not deemed to be essential services and were not allowed to have employees access their business premises.

And what about those businesses who had data failures during the lockdown period and needed to restore their manual backups held on-premise? As per the prior scenario, this would have been impossible during Level 4 and would have left some businesses not being able to operate at all.

Businesses that invested in BackOnline benefited from the solution’s replication, encryption, and high-level data security, and were also safe from the insecurity that sharing data over home networks brings.

BackOnline is a scalable cloud storage solution, available through TIMG, that delivers full disaster recovery and cloud backup for SME’S and large businesses through to individuals. Clients can restore entire servers and recover crucial business files in a matter of minutes, thanks to TIMG’s secure offsite data storage, with data centres based in New Zealand and back-ups stored at clients’ locations on Network Attached Storage devices (NAS). Secure off-site storage ensures your data remains safe should your office be at risk from disasters such as fires, flood, pandemic or employee theft.

Delivering innovative information management solutions to New Zealand businesses for over 30 years, TIMG has become one of the most trusted names in the business. With their offsite records storage, secure document destruction, and vault-based media storage solutions, TIMG is improving business security and efficiency, adding value to their clients’ workflow by improving critical business functions.

Asian Family Services has received funding from the Ministry of Health to boost exsiting mental health support for Asians living in New Zealand experiencing distress due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kelly Feng, National Director Asian Family Services, says COVID-19 is having a significant impact on people’s lives and causing many Asians living in New Zealand to feel anxious, distressed, and confused.
“The Ministry of Health has recognised this need and is funding our service to provide additional support including extending our Asian Helpline hours along with our online and face-to-face counselling support in different languages,” she says.
Kelly Feng says the most important message they want Asian people to understand is that they are not alone and support is available free of charge and completely confidential.
“We encourage people to reach out to services for support and not to isolate themselves if they experience any mental health and addiction issues,” she says.
“We have professionally trained and experienced counsellors who can speak several languages and will provide emotional support to anyone who needs it during this difficult and unsettling time.”
Asian Family Services is developing a suite of resources to support wellbeing and help people who are currently struggling with their mental health, by providing simple, tangible actions anyone can do.
Asian Family Services is a nationwide mental health and addiction service that provides free and confidential support including the Asian Helpline in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai and Hindi.
