Road resurfacing work to improve the quality and longevity of State Highway 1 at multiple locations between Taupō and Turangi will commence this Monday 2 November.
From 6pm on Monday night, a 260m long section of road in Waitetoko will be replaced over four nights.
While this work is undertaken stop/go traffic management will direct traffic around the worksite, and a temporary speed limit of 30km will be in place to ensure the safety of both crews and road users.
