What happens when you ask The KaRs to tackle a big word like resilience? You get laughter, music, movement — and a powerful message for tamariki about growing, learning and standing strong together.
Aotearoa’s musical duo The KaRs — Kane Parsons and Regan Taylor — have released two new music videos, “Bing, Bang, Bong!” and “Resilience”, from their upcoming album He Kākano — Seeds of Resilience.
Supported by NZ On Air Tamariki, the new releases bring together music, humour, and positive messages to help children explore resilience in ways that are engaging, accessible and fun.
Bing, Bang, Bong!—learning through music and movement
The playful “Bing, Bang, Bong!” invites tamariki to join in, move their bodies, and discover the joy of making music together. And that when you fall down, you get back up again.

Resilience — a BIG word with an even BIGGER message
Resilience can be a tricky word to spell—and even trickier to explain to children. The KaRs bring their signature musical storytelling to the challenge, helping tamariki explore what it means to keep going, learn from challenges, support one another, and learn to spell at the same time.
