Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify a woman located in central Auckland this week.
Concerns were raised about the woman’s welfare, and Police were notified on Monday 28 September.
She was transported to Auckland City Hospital where she has been receiving care.
Police are making this appeal after exhausting all lines of enquiry this week to identify her, including engaging with several community organisations and agencies.
Despite these extensive efforts we have been unable to confirm her identity. Our focus is to reunite the woman with her family and to ensure support networks are engaged for her.
The woman is estimated to be her late 30s to mid-40s. At the time she was located she was wearing a black jacket, purple pants and pink jandals.
We believe she may be known to people in Auckland’s CBD.
Do you know her? And can you help us? Please contact Police via 105 using the reference number P067776096.
We thank you for your assistance in this matter.
ENDS.
