Police can now name the man who died following a house fire on Matakana Island on Saturday 12 September.
He was David Russell McCoubrie, 79, from Matakana Island.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the fire remain ongoing.
