Emergency services attending a serious vehicle crash on State Highway 1, Wellsford.
Police were alerted to the crash, near River Road, at 2pm.
Initial indications suggest there are critical injuries.
Both north and south bound lanes are blocked, with diversions in place at State Highway 16 and Woodcocks Road.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
